Where it stands

Prototype flight testing

Eve’s design separates vertical lift from forward propulsion, using dedicated lift rotors and a wing for cruise. The initial passenger configuration is planned around a pilot and four travelers.

The full-scale engineering prototype first flew in December 2025. An August 2026 update reported a partial transition test with the pusher activated in flight; it did not claim a completed full transition to wing-borne cruise.

The wider program includes support services and traffic-management work. Future autonomous ambitions should be kept separate from the planned piloted launch configuration, and order announcements should be read together with their delivery conditions.

Availability

Under development; orders concern future aircraft, not current retail deliveries.

Certification & operating context

ANAC certification work ongoing; FAA validation activity and EASA validation application reported.

What to watch next

Higher-speed transition testing, finalized certification criteria and conforming aircraft progress.
