Klein Vision reported in January 2022 that its AirCar prototype received a Certificate of Airworthiness from the Slovak Transport Authority. The company described a program involving 70 flight hours and more than 200 takeoffs and landings. It remains a notable historical achievement for a vehicle that can transform between road and fixed-wing flight.
The significance is strongest when the aircraft is clearly identified. Approval of an individual prototype establishes something about that tested machine and its operating conditions. It does not automatically establish the status of every later version, especially when the engine, structure or intended manufacturing process changes during development.

A photograph of a new design beside a reference to an older certificate can otherwise leave an impression broader than the evidence supports.
AirCar's earlier approval merits recognition, in our view, while current customer availability still requires separate evidence.
