Doroni's current website targets initial H1-X deliveries in 2028, with development and certification work preceding that goal. Its SEC-filed offering material also describes the aircraft as under development and makes the schedule conditional on financing and other factors. The target is therefore a planning statement, rather than a guaranteed customer delivery date.
A roadmap is most useful when its dependencies are visible. A flying prototype creates test data; that data can lead to design changes; those changes may need further evaluation. Production planning must then reflect the actual configuration that emerges. Progress is rarely captured adequately by a single countdown to the year of delivery.
Prospective owners can use the roadmap to frame specific questions. What hardware is complete? Which tests have been performed on that hardware? What still needs approval, and how will customers be trained and supported? These questions are more informative than assuming that a preorder represents a nearly finished aircraft.
Our assessment is that a transparent sequence of milestones would make Doroni's target easier to evaluate. The strongest updates will explain what was completed, what changed and what comes next, including any changes to assumptions. That level of detail allows enthusiasm for a new personal aircraft to coexist with a realistic understanding of the development work remaining.
